Lots of fun
By Claire Todd

The kids at my house love Play-Doh, are only generally aware of Star Wars, and they have really enjoyed this set. Many in the Play-Doh age range won't have seen the original movies (we're waiting for our turn with the local library's copies!) but most will know characters by way of cultural osmosis. Play-doh is almost always a hit and Star Wars is cool again, so this is a great combo.

There's plenty to do between molding little vehicles and weapons, pressing the button to launch them, and using the cans themselves as characters. There are plenty of molds, but a lack of the ever-popular "squeeze through to make spaghetti" feature that do many Play-Doh sets incorporate. (I'm not sure how they would have worked that in to this one, honestly.)

Of course, it has the typical drawbacks to Play-Doh, in terms of messiness and potential to dry out, but I consider those worth putting up with. While I find that squeezing the cans is the easiest way to get the Doh out, it will make wrinkles in the stickers that are the character's faces. Also realize that the 2 oz cans (as described) are smaller than the typical can.

Overall, it's a fun set that works just as I'd anticipated from the description. It's not an absolute must-have from a Play-Doh perspective, but might be if the recipient is also a young (or nostalgic) Star Wars fan.

Great Toy for Young Star Wars Fans
By J

I purchased this for my nephew for his 4th birthday. He's a huge Star Wars fan but some of the toys seemed a bit old for him-- this was the perfect fit and he adores it! The Millenium Falcon is not only a great toy that fits the characters' cans into-- or launch them from!--but has several playdoh molds throughout. The cans themselves being the infamous characters was a really cute addition. For younger Star Wars fans, this is a great toy.

A new favorite activity!

This set was a huge hit with my almost 4yr old! He played with it for hours on the first day and therefore was a hit with mommy too! :-) The set comes with 5 cans of play-doh. The launcher was a hit. My preschooler got my oldest interested in playing with him (9yr, who feels he's grown) and they had a blast. There are 2 main molds to make small ships, one for the torpedo, and then smaller molds on the back of the Millennium Falcon that can be removed and used as well. The catapult play interested the boys the most and provided plenty of fun action. This set is great for any Star Wars fan. My husband even thought it was cool and enjoying playing with our preschooler. Highly recommend for preschool and up.

Star Wars/ Play-Doh fans rejoice!

This is a pretty decent set and a must have for Play-Doh and star wars fans alike. The jars have Play-Doh characters on them that can either be refilled or never opened and displayed depending on the person. Its a very easy play set to use but can for sure be a mess maker since you have the ability to "launch" Play-Doh through the air. My kids really like the Star Wars saga and in turn have a lot of fun with this Millennium Falcon and I'm sure others will too. Recommended!

A hit with the kids.

At first I was skeptical because of the "can heads." They look a little cheesy to me. Kids love this though! The Millennium Falcon is all the craze so its a big hit and of course so is play doh! I bought two of these for gifts this past week and may buy more for my boys for Easter.

Fun, easy toy for the kids

Played it with the kids (4 and 6 yr old), they loved it. Just about every inch and every side of this toy is also a surface to mold something Star Wars themed. No problems with anything breaking or tough parts to assemble. Bottom line, fun, easy toy.
