did not realize 16 OZ set meant total of 16 oz, or 2 oz per can. I was checking every set to try to be sure I actually bought large cans and thought this was it, since I didn't expect playdoh to retail for about a dollar an ounce. guess I was wrong.

It's ok. I mean it's Play-Doh so the quality is good, but I didn't realize the containers were so small. The kids had a hard time making anything without having to mix the colors. The colors always get mixed eventually, but with this set it took about 10 mins.
Not full size containers

I didn't realize (and maybe I should have read more carefully) that these are NOT full size Playdo containers, but mini ones. I was thinking this was a great deal, but now I don't actually think so as you're only getting four full containers worth of play-do, which works out to around $2 per container. My local Walmart sells full size individual play-do containers for $1.
Amazing! Kids love to play for hours

Great play doh set for kids. Certainly improves creativity in kids. I also got a 24 piece Tool set along with it. My daughter loves it and can play hours with it. Play doh can get a bit dry if played regularly. To make it soft again, I put them in a zip lock bag add few drops of water and leave overnight. Next day it soft play doh again just like new!! It will be a great return gift on birthday parties too.

This is a great and inexpensive variety pack. My niece was so excited when I gave this to her, she wanted to open it and start playing right away. There is something timeless about playdoh, even the parents want to join their kids and create too.

My 4 year old grand daughter and her parents are coming for a visit from Kansas in August. No box of toys, books etc. would be complete without a few cans of Play-Doh. I'm sure she will love playing with it while she's here. : )
